Dana 30s live to blow up with big tires, and the thin 5.13 pinion is in the D30 is overloaded. Too much unsprung weight in that machine

I’ve seen those conversions in person, Thaler also makes one and while they are cute and fun I always felt they should have been a factory option or an AEV tie up.

They do make for a very tight cab but honestly so did the CJ8 and the CJ3/5 single hard cab.

As for building up the D30 axle that far, no. Just a whole box of Nope! For all the money spent they couldn’t just make some 44’s happen? I’m not saying 60’s are the way but at least a 44. But if you never wheel it does it matter? It will likely sit in a beach house garage somewhere and come out a few times a year to cruise the strip, look flash and then go home.
