Same build as last time (+ headliner) = ~8k increase in MSRP. Seems wild for a Jeep to have a 75k MSRP. Have 3 to 4 months to decide whether or not to get back in a Diesel gladiator and check out the new Tundra. Which is a little big(wide) for Colorado trails and finding parking spots in town (8” longer than Suburban), but pretty smooth driving around town and cruising on highways. Would like to get another diesel Jeep before they go away…

One reason I plan to keep mine. Replace the motor if it ever goes out and I’ll still be in the green. My 3.6l rubi gladiator has basically every option available. Msrp back in 2020 was just north of 58k—afraid to even check now.

Yeah. MSRP on diesel fully loaded jumped quite a bit. Could have got another 2 K off to drive to Gupton (16 hrs), but non-refundable deposit and still not convinced about going back yet vs getting a used one down the road as a third vehicle. 4 months to decide and have trade locked in now at 1K below MSRP on the Tundra. Missed the boat on ordering as price went up 2600 on October 1.

I was at a dealer buying parts today and they had one on the floor less equipped than my 21. It was 10k more list than mine was last July. I’m keeping mine.

Just traded mine in and got 5k over kbb. Bought it for 47 out the door and put 37k miles on it. Traded it in for 43ish if I recall correctly.

I’d have the same issue with the Tundra (size wise). I had a full-size truck (Ram 1500). I really don’t miss it (size wise) for a daily driver. It was a blast to drive, but a pain to find parking.

Im curious why your comparing a diesel glad with the tundra? to me they are different class of trucks. Does a 3.6 not work for you?

Yes but do the doors and roof come off? And it’s still a Ford!
No but it has 450hp 510tq , 14” of travel, 3”remote res shocks, a frame from a 250, 9.5” rear, wayyyy better seats that are cooled also.

the tundra is hideous

way too wide for trails tho i get it. But dude 75 for muh roof and doors and a anemic 3.6. I just dont know anymore… ive owned jeeps for 20+ years. Not really seeing the brand develop the way most enthusiasts would like to see it. Good luck whatever ya do.

I hear you brother, I can’t do $75K for a Jeep. Ordered my first one with a $65K MSRP. If it wasn’t for the Gupton discount I wouldnt have ordered.

That's insane. I could never bring myself to spend that kind of money on a Gladiator.

I ordered nearly every option just about a year ago on my Mojave and MSRP was 63k.

Though I didn't have
1. diesel
2. dual tops
3. dual doors
4. cargo rail
5. optional wheels (same size just a machined face)

But I did have every luxury and safety feature offered, body colored top and fenders, LEDs, etc.

For what its worth, 75k also gets you a 2 door Willys and new GTI Golf. Ha. Two opposite ends of the spectrum, both lots of fun.

I bought/ordered for those same features......topless/doorless. But they're honestly getting to be way over priced for those features.

It's almost to the point it would be cheaper to buy a new ZR2 Colorado and with money saved buy a TJ with a 4.0 and 5spd and still be ahead over a loaded JTRD.
