I got one a few months ago. We have no business having this sort of equipment for our paltry bit of land but whatever. Fulfilling childhood dreams. Its been helpful. Use the pallet folks more than anything.
I still need forks and a Pirhana bar for the bucket. I make do as I can.

I too use the forks more than a bucket. They are a huge help. Don't cheap out and get those ones that clamp on the bucket. But also don't go crazy and get heavier duty than you need. Remember, the implement weight counts toward your loader lift capacity, and that capacity is usually measured at the pivot pins. The further forward the weight is, the lower the capacity. You attach a set of HD skidsteer forks on a small tractor and you aren't going to be able to lift a lot more.

This. When I bought my tractor I made sure that the dealer was spec'ing me the lighter weight forks made for a sub compact.

Forks . Snow can be done with back blade front bucket or just do what I do drive over it and let it melt .

I use both a plow blade on the rear and the front bucket when I do snow. having the bucket lets me move and stack the snow. Typically I will plow first, and then go back and use the bucket to clean up tight areas, sight lines so you can see pulling out of driveway, and around the mail box. , If it's a lot of snow, I'll also move/stack snow further back so there is room to plow the next time without making the driveway increasingly smaller.

The forks work almost as well as a grapple for moving brush and logs, and when we get bags of mulch every spring I unload right onto an empty pallet to move all around the property as needed.

I don't have a snow issue down here by the Gulf but I do have a 'pick stuff up' issue. We use the forks all the time for moving or picking up odd and end stuff. Makes it a lot easier for me to do stuff by myself - or at least not needlessly break my back.

We always have some sort of home or automotive project going on though...

Yeah, since I have the snowblower I'm leaning towards forks. We do get pummeled sometimes though and it takes a while with the snowblower. It would be nice to just push it away in 10 minutes and be back inside where it's warm. My drive is only like 250" long which is nothing for a pusher but is pretty long for the snowblower....hmmmmm, did I just talk myself into a pusher. LOL

Heck our whole property is only 220 feet from east to west.

Yet here we are with a 1 Series 😂

Yeah, I have a Kioti CS 22hp unit. Just enough for my small property. Sometimes I wish I had bought the Deere you bought. Definitely has more capability. At least mine takes universal skid steer attachments which makes it easier to find attachments on FB or Craigslist.

I'd post a pic. but it's currently blowing 50 mph with rain. Not going on in this mess.

Yeah, I can't deal with driving over it because my drive becomes an ice rink for the rest of the season.

I looked at the Kioti first, but I was a little turned off when I visited the 'dealer' and the two Kiotis he had were still in crates, sitting in a gravel lot amongst four foot tall weeds, and the carboard boxes holding the parts of the yet to be assembled tractors were water logged.

Then saw that the place any warranty work would be done was slightly more than a plywood shed.

The cash price was really good, but the finance price put it at literally the same cost as a 1025R from JD with zero percent finance.

So, I went green. My JD dealer was super cool and extremely helpful. They even started bringing in the equipment before I was committed to buy. He said hey I'm gonna have you a 1025R brought in tomorrow, the box blade, and the forks. If you buy it's here ready. If you pass, I have it for someone else. They took care of a few minor 'QC' issues on it before delivering it as well (with no fuss).

It does look good parked next to my JD S140 mower we got last year, though (from a sister dealer, actually).

Looked at the Kubotas too but they were going to cost more than a JD with less lift capacity.

All my research on tractors this small eventually led to 'you are really buying the dealer you want to deal with'.

You must live further north than me . Heck last January it snowed 15" I shovel two paths behind wife's car and I parked on top of it in the yard every day for a month. It eventually warmed up end of February.
