After a painful wait our Fusion 4x4 axles have finally arrived.

Kingpin Dana 60 front

Waiting on a few more parts to arrive, but can't wait to get these installed!

That's already a hell of a build - and those things are massive.

Photos with the new axles?
I've been waiting on the metalcloak arms to ship. I finally got the tracking number yesterday, but they won't be here until the 30th :crying:. My plan was to have the arms powdercoated prior to installation, but I'm not sure i want to wait another week after they arrive.

VHT Epoxy paint. I use it on things I can't readily powder coat like door locks (change stainless or chrome look locks to black) and other items that won't handle the 450 degree temps of powder coating.
I'm limited by oven size, too, so sometimes I plate parts and do black zinc then use the VHT epoxy paint over that for a really tough finish.
The VHT epoxy paint is good to 250 degrees and decent against salt and so on.
I don't always like to press out, powder coat, then press bushings back in, so it's an option at times.
Otherwise I powder coat almost all of the steering and suspension parts I can. Many of the Jeep parts are longer than I can heat at this time until I get the infrared setup so I look for options, and so far this paint has held up on door locks, a few suspension parts and other stuff that's hard to keep nice on a show car that's driven as a daily driver in nice weather.
JUST AN IDEA.......

I would have rattle canned them a couple at a time if they were already installed on the vehicle. I know the lowers are going to get rashed so the red may not be the best idea for touch ups, but it should look good for a little while.

You are going far more rad than I'd ever be able to on any of my stuff and for sure on my Overland, but I can't wait to see how this project turns out - gonna be sweet for sure. (besides, I have three other vehicles I need to spread the money around on)
