Mine is on a Rubi, and the Rubi bounce is gone. Heading into the wind the only thing I notice is decreased gas mileage. About 1mpg as it sits now. I stoll have a bit of rake, even with the camper so I will probably end up installing a front leveling kit.Hey all. I really want to get an ovrlnd camper. Just curious how if at all it changed the driving dynamics, particularly on the highway. I really like how my gladiator drives now, it’s SO much better on windy highways than my 2 door JK I don’t want to change that. Do you have do drive differently/slower now that you have the camper? I definitely don’t want to have to drive it like my 2 door, in the slow lane hanging on for dear life in the wind haha.
Cross wind is not an issue. On my way home I was hit by gusts up to 60 mph and the truck stayed planted. I really like the way it handles now.
I haven't taken it offroad yet except for a little 15 mile jaunt so can't say too much about that yet.
I have a bit of a lead foot so no, you don't need to change your driving style!
