Frankenlift?
No, I think I will just do the coils for the payload increase. The ride will not be nearly as good as it is now, but I don't really intend on pushing the limits.

What kind of suspension are you all running with the camper? I feel a lot of lift discussions don't always consider the static load of camper and such.

I'm thinking of getting like a 2-3" lift. My budget is somewhat limited, so I was looking at the Mopar 2" lift, or something around that price point. But than wonder if the springs and shocks are good enough for the weight.

Thoughts?
I went with Dobinson 2" coils (1" if Rubicon/Mojave), with the heavier up front and mid-weight out back, along with 0-1.5" Falcon SP2 2.1 shocks a few years ago. Very happy with the ride on and off road. With the springs I needed adjustable trackbars to center the axles and prevent coil rub when articulating but didn't upgrade anything else.

Yes, I think the AEV springs will give an extra few hundred pounds of payload.

They're pretty neat. I am considering picking those up. But you have to buy the complete set. Otherwise they won't work correctly.
Another option this shop will install is from Rock Krawler.

I haven't heard much about them. On their site, they suggest:
  • If building an "overland style" or heavily up-fitted build in the back, we recommend upsizing 1” in coil lift height for the rear.
Any thoughts on their lifts?

As far as their lifts. It was my second choice to go with. AEV was third. Ended up with Clayton Overland lift 2.5

All of us need to get together and do a camping trip somewhere, kind of meet in the middle of everyone so its not super far for one of us. But approximately the same distance for all.

I'm pretty happy with the Clayton Overland lift with HD diesel springs and fox 2.5 elite remote reservoir setup. Check out Overland Vechicle Dynamics AKA @CrazyCooter .
