I'm struggling here. I'm reasonably sure that in 2020 the corporate troubleshooting team can likely remotely access everything that the on site tech can see.

I think the days are long gone when an on-site tech needs to "send" something to someone else.

They should plug the truck in and the tech team (wherever they are) should be able to work on it as if they were there.

The only thing they cannot do is physically touch the truck.

I'm sorry but this is not making sense to me. Not in 2020.

I think if I could talk to star directly they would understand what I'm talking about, just need 10 minutes of there time and my nightmare will end but thats not happening, they don't let customers talk to there engineers, I have worked at dealerships, know exactly what they are doing which makes it much more frustrating.
If you know exactly what they are doing can you please explain how they send the "wrong data" to people who can look at the same thing in real time?

That's my figuring - cruise manipulates throttle not A/F ratio, valve lift, valve timing, EGR or other functions.
What happens to rpm when throttle is depressed

WTF - DUH - it goes up unless the load is too great then it simply maintains speed.
What happens when YOU press the throttle? The exact same thing that happens when the cruise tries to maintain speed up a hill - YOU press the throttle or cruise does, no difference.
This looks more like some game than a serious thing here.

I'll say. But maybe I just don't understand.

Ill await the full story when the attorney releases you to release the full story. For what ever reason he has you hiding it.

Sounds very scientific.

I'm not that samrt

They said the same thing in 96 with obd2 came, and techs stopped diagnosising, they look at a code plug it into a program like identifix and replace what a computer program tells them to do, the technology is better today but not good enough to do total diagnostics off site, the fact after 4 months they can't figure out what is wrong proves my point

I don't think this is correct. Pretty much everyone can remotely troubleshoot just about anything now.

Heck some blenders are online. And you are saying that one of the largest manufacturers on earth has let technology pass them by. Honestly this makes no sense.

Are you not entertained!
I was warned by another member about trolls - guess I'm in the habit of feeding them! LOL

A tech that can't spell tech............ and the crazy attorney reference, wow, should have seen that one coming. That, or a former tech got a bit into the eggnog

I am sitting up listening to ham radio. Nothing else to do.

He got me into another scotch. So I should be thankful.
