I have gotten this code twice now. Can anyone tell me where the egr valve is on these? I’m hoping I can just clean the egr valve and that’s all it needs. 3.6

I’ve asked similar. Doesn’t seem like the right kind of forum… good luck.
You can always clean the egr and try, but man…. This thing is a big network of computers first and a Jeep second. Codes often come from completely different systems feeding bad information down a long line of systems till one complains. Loose connections and bad sensors seems to be more the problem than actual failures of the part they sense or control.

My JK pentastar EGR is on the rear passenger side of the engine. A total PITA to get to from the top. Some have had success changing it out through the wheel well. I’m not positive but I’d imagine it’s in the same place on the JT/JL platform.

how many miles on your gladiator? 100k on my JK and no EGR issues (yet)

This is one version. it's "cooled" and may be on either side, depending on the application.
Left side for us.
There's more to it than "cleaning" since they went with cooled EGR.

Jeep Gladiator P2457 code 1689115474745

That code is more likely with the cooling part, the temperature sensor, etc. not the egr as you think of it.
This isn't like the old Ford EGR where you unplug the carbon, open the passages and it works.

From a diagnostics chart -
The EGR cooler must remain within a specific temperature range to efficiently reduce emissions. The Engine Control Module (ECM) determines the efficiency of the EGR cooler by monitoring both EGR temperature sensors while the EGR valve is active. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set when the ECM detects that the EGR cooler efficiency is lower than a calibrated value for greater than 100 s.
