Anyone from the Midwest/East Coast ‘winterize‘ their JT’s to help repel salt/slush/dirt?
This will be my first winter with a vehicle that I want to invest in keeping clean from the elements.
Any advice on a budget friendly ceramic wax or any other products that y’all use would be helpful!
I was looking into these products posted below, not sure if they’re what I’m needing to help the exterior from the elements. Thanks in advance!

Try to get your hands on some of this, give your local Napa a visit.

If you can not locate any of the above use a Fluid film
https://www.fluid-film.com/

The difference between the two:
Amsoil is an amber amber/wax that almost dries to the touch.
Fluidfilm is similar but doesn't quite dry and attracts a bit of dust.
Both offer good protection for salt

Give your Jeep a good detailing & wax while the temperature still allows

I have not run this stuff through a winter yet, however it is a joy to work with

Wash your Jeep as often as you can to remove road salt

I have the local detail shop apply paint sealant once a year. They also do all the plastic bits. Wash it regularly, and do not use hot water when doing so. I use to run a winter beater and keep my new vehicles out of the worst winter days, but that started to get pricey with all the associated costs, insurance, reg, maintenance, repairs etc.
The only real good solution is to move where there is no snow.?

I am not a fan of commercial car washes, but if I drive any of my vehicles in snow/salt during the winter, I will run them through a car wash at least 1x a week. Of course, that must include an undercarriage cleaning.

I also maintain a monthly plan at a local car wash during the winter months just for this reason. I can get each of my cars washed once a day if I want. I then suspend the account for the warmer months when I can wash them weekly myself.
