Source?Very easy mod. Took about 30 mins to complete. Will probably pull back off and paint both of them sometime in the future.
I had originally bought the bezel with the cutout, but decided just to cut and and file it smooth

Looks great -and love that Jeep emblem. Matches my Eagle SX4 emblem except for the Jeep part. I may have a couple of those in my car emblem tub.
Were you able to cut out the hole with the bumper still on the truck?Very easy mod. Took about 30 mins to complete. Will probably pull back off and paint both of them sometime in the future.

The bumper took all of 10 minutes to remove. The trailer connector (both of them) just pop off and pull 3 fir tree clips and the wiring comes with itWere you able to cut out the hole with the bumper still on the truck?
I looked at removing the bumper, but didn't see any simple way to remove the trailer connector.

I have a stock black rear hook and bolts from a sport if anyone's interested.Anyone know if 6508668AA bolts are the correct ones for the tow hook?
I ordered a tow hook ( 68351561AA) and bolts ( 6508668AA) which came in today. I was test fitting the bolts to the tow hook but just turning in the bolts by hand they had a lot of resistance. They start in fine and appear to be the right thread but only go in a small amount before I would have to put a wrench to them. I don't want to mess up the threads on the hook if they are wrong..
Same as mine. Only went a couple threads, but it toque'd down just fine. The kit I ordered was the sport black hook that came with 1 bolt and then I just ordered a 2nd bolt : 06508668AAAnyone know if 6508668AA bolts are the correct ones for the tow hook?

They'd sure work in my Overland right side of the rear bumper- how much?I have a stock black rear hook and bolts from a sport if anyone's interested.
Same part number for the Sport and Overland. Same part for either side. They'd sure work in my Overland right side of the rear bumper- how much?
My OCD doesn't like the unbalanced look of a hook on just one side, and I'd rather pull evenly from two points.
Yeah, I watched that after I tried to take mine off...The bumper took all of 10 minutes to remove. The trailer connector (both of them) just pop off and pull 3 fir tree clips and the wiring comes with it
4 bolts on the bumper and 2 under the license plate
I bought some M14x2.0 bolts, and they fit the same way. I'll put a dab of anti-seize on 'em and torque away.Anyone know if 6508668AA bolts are the correct ones for the tow hook?

BAM shows a different part number for the rear hook. Are there different part numbers for the same actual part? Thanks

There are two different numbers that I know of; one is for the black hook, the other for the red hook.BAM shows a different part number for the rear hook. Are there different part numbers for the same actual part?
I'd take either color as I'd simply powder coat it whatever color I wanted, even candy raspberry if I got crazy enough. But Sport or Overland will be black anyway so it would already match my left hook if it came from a Sport. There are two different numbers that I know of; one is for the black hook, the other for the red hook.
