Not accounting for color, this is what I consider "close" to a perfect Gladiator. https://www.jeep.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C6JJTAG4RL130381

https://www.lithiachryslermissoula....missoula-1b3368ebac1827628aa46e5b734479b5.htm (as of Feb 27, 2025).

In Missoula MT, you can get it for 39K. It's main draw is the max tow package with the 4.10 gears, "extra" wide Dana's, and limited slip diff and 7700 lb towing capability. But the S package tricks it out enough to be..."comfortable." I also like the LED light package.

The only things I would do is order selec trac full time four wheel drive IF THEY WOULD LET ME AND THEY WON'T, and spray in bedliner, but I can do the latter after market pretty nice.

AND you could do this right at the 40K range. It would be nice for Jeep to consider making all of them with the raised front wheel wells like Rubicons, but not critical.

Just my opinion.

I definitely got the perfect Gladiator *for me* with a similar setup - only my Sport Max Tow isn't even an S, which I love. I'm all about the manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors, old school gauges, etc. And while a locker would be cool here and there, the LSD suits me better overall - and it's a lot of fun drifting that thing around the dirt roads / trails.

We all know that the JT attained perfection with the Mojave, it's a scientific fact. :giggle:

Just like when Homer Simpson declared "Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974 ... it's a scientific fact."

The mojave is the perfect gladiator for me, but we own 40 acres in the desert so it gets used as intended. Of course it will tow 8400lbs no problem...allegedly.

Allegedly lol.

That one time I pulled a 28x8.5 with my old rubi….. absolutely. Terrifying. Only had to go 15 miles thank goodness.

If you can get that at that price with no adds and the 2.9APR I’d say it’s not a bad deal, all things considered.

It towed surprisingly well, even maintained 65mph up tehachapi grade which gains ~4k feet in 20 miles. Aside from the 8mpg I had no complaints. It was only 575 miles. But we now have a 12'x16' cabin on our property that we built in 5 days.

What's funny is I got my Rubicon for the price of their Sport MSRP. Mine was originally MSRP'd at $68K :headbang:

After renting one of those uhaul trailers that weigh a million pounds we ended up buying a flat bed trailer which is around 2,000 lbs. Leaving 5k for crap like my picture. This was the last stuff we had when we moved. We should just have thrown away most of it as is still sitting in one of our garages. The Willys with 3.73s towed very well. I traded it for the JTR.
