Perfect PSI

Well after much research and speaking with my local tire shop I am going to go with a set of Wildpeak AT3 295/70/18 on my stock Overland rims with 1.75" wheel spacers.
My question is the recommended PSI is 80 but I want a softer more comfortable highway ride.
Suggestions for PSI??

80 is wayyyyy to high. That’s probably the max rating. You should find that most people run low 30s with 35s. I run 32 for a good contact patch and supple ride.

80? WTF? Like... 8x10=80? Like 20 less than 100 80? We talking about the same 80 here? 80 is insane and your tire would probably blow up or off the rim well before that.

I have 35s and run 28 ideally.

Look up the load inflation chart for your tire. It will show the recommended PSI to run based on weight.

That is apparently a load range “E” tire and 80psi would be max for full load.
Should be able to run 60 easily, but ride will still be rougher than a load range “C” tire.

Fyi max pressure is not the recommended inflation pressure. I have wildpeak 285/75 17s. Started w 38 but they seem best between 34-35.

my max per the chart is same as yours .... 80. Handling and ride is best around 34.

I'd be worried about 80 psi even loaded because I'd bet your TRUCK can't handle the weight that tire car. No way - don't even think of 80 if you want any tire to pavement contact, braking ability and so on. You'll also wear the center of the tread out.

Absolutely! It will vary with truck weight, etc. - but the best place to start is right there -

I wouldn't run any spacer, I do not think you need it to fit those tires. A spacer will push the tire outside the fender.

1.75" spacers with stock backspaced wheels and 12.5" tires works out just right IMO. These are Rubicon 17" stock wheels, same backspace as Overland I believe.
