I looked, but didn't find any threads on it.
I'm having an issue, my uconnect will not sync the contacts from my phone. Anyone else run into this issue? Got a fix for it?
Phone is a Motorola Power 2021 running Android 11
Any help much appreciated!

I had the problem when I got mine in 2019, unpaired, rebooted my phone, paired the phone again and all was fine.
On the other hand, if it stopped working again no big deal for me as I don't make calls from my vehicle and seldom use the phone at all while driving.

Don't know what the issue was, but I deleted the phone from the system, turn the phone and radio off, restarted both, and re paired them, and now it's synched. ????

That's what I said I did with mine. It's not uncommon. I've seen it before with other vehicles and so has my dealer. Bluetooth isn't perfect and pairing relies on multiple companies all applying standards in the exact same way - never happens.

It was strange though, it worked good for the first week or so, and I've tried unpairing them a couple times, and didn't help. This time I powered them both down and let them set for a while before trying again.

I had that problem yesterday. After slamming through the reinstalling process being all pissed off I noticed on my phones screen there is a small box ☑ that had to be checked. (Android) I noticed it on the pairing screen. Good for now.

Everytime it happens to me it's the phones fault. Still takes me at least a half hour to find what got changed but it has always been the on the phones end. Very annoying.

The phone is still basically a computer with an imperfect operating system and hardware that can be finicky, and bluetooth is far from perfect itself. Standards are great but each company believes they have a better version of the standards so they tweak things.
Things have come a long ways - but it's not to the point of believing that a phone never needs to be restarted, things never need to be re-paired, and so on.
I still have to occasionally go in and say - connect to this now - because my phone was connected to Echo in my shop, then I go to the house and it links with a system in the house, or my hearing aids, then I take my phone into the truck and it connects there - sometimes, then I leave my truck and the phone isn't sure what to reconnect to - so I have to say connect to this........ it's far from seamless. And when I connect my phone to the OBDII adapter, it totally disconnects from all other devices, including my hearing aids which are totally different processes, but the connection to the OBD device drops all other connections for some reason.
