pin for spare key jscan mc+ vlink how to?

anyone know how to get the pin for jscan? im using an mc+ vlinker w ios bluetooth.

You mean the PIN to program a new fob? There is a specific menu for programming that walks you step by step - RFH Ignition Key Programming. This only works for the push-to-start models. AlfaOBD has a menu for just reading the PIN if you need it.

or for free you can use Chrysler pin puller . The app is free but they give you a price you can click on and pay with paypal . I think it cost me maybe $14.00 a few years ago for a Ram before alfaOBD could do it .

I tried alfaOBD w/MX+ to pull the pin and it said It could not do it on my 2022 for some reason and Chrysler pin puller aided also . maybe something on the newer computer

For the OBD interface, I use the MX+ bluetooth. I have not programmed a key with JScan, only AlfaOBD and have not had a problem other than timeouts on the interface and needed to bump up some of those to get the PIN. I have used it on Dodges as well as a Jeep Cherokee, too.

The Chrysler pin puller app itself is free unlike alfaOBD . They have different prices I guess for different vehicles . For the Ram I used it for you entered the info it asks for and it says how many tokens it charges you and you pay with paypal which all said and done was about $14.00 Its very easy to use . I have not tried to retrieve it with alfaOBD yet as it was not able to do it at the time I did my Ram but that was many years ago . I have not needed the pin for anything I have done on my daughters 19 JL or my 22 JT at this time. I will most likely when I do a new key fob for her eventually. At the time this was very popular way to do it on Ram Forum as the Dealers were the only other way to get the pin and many dealers would not give it to you or charge ya for it . This was long before JT's existed .


Edit . I tried the Chrysler pin puller on my 22 JT and I also tried the alfaOBD read pin and that also don't work . I have the MX+ also .
