Tracking down some death wobble and it looks like the ball joint from the pitman arm to the draglink has a bit of play so I am going to replace it. Wondering if this is an opportunity to upgrade anything (new stronger pitman arm/better ball joint/etc) or just replacing with a stock ball joint.

I just watched a video on youtube where they changed the components to steer smarts system. He drove it after without a stabilizer and no wobble at all. Made me think about upgrading. Oh yeah forgot to say it was on a JL

I've got Artec steering components up front... freaking bomb proof.

I run the exact same steering on my wife's JL with no stabilizer (she's going to get my Fox ATS setup after I finally get my PSC installed) with no issues at all.

Pick your poison for upgraded. I personally went rpm steering which is the big aluminum stuff. There are a lot of aluminum options at this point though between apex chassis, artec, rpm steering, Rusty's, Deutsche off-road, core 4x4 and others I'm sure I'm forgetting.
