Jeep Gladiator Please HELP - removing DOME LIGHTS 20260917_155139
. It feels like I am going to rip the entire roof down if I go any harder. To the point the light actually bent and half the dome light popped out . But the piece being held in by the 2 clips still will not budge . I dont even know how the light split off . I have tried everything . Does anyone know if I am missing something? I had a similar setup in my wrangler and that popped out within 5min . I have been at this for 3 weeks trying not to damage anything . I cannot even pull the panel that covers the space between the 2 speakers off to get a better look because the dome light seems to be preventing me from pulling that down until I get that unit out . I can use any tips I can get. Thank you

Thats the first link I checked out a few weeks ago . Someone must have used glue on a broken clip or something. I pull and bend so hard the damn light split in half . The bracket for the light is about to snap if I go any harder . Haha I was hoping there was something easy and a push release button that I missed . Thanks buddy
Those clips are pretty rough. They use the same ones to hold the back of the center console on and its basically feels like an explosion when they finally release.

But no, if you can't get the panel down to squeeze the back of the clip like the guy in the link did, then there isn't many other options.

I Will probably have to order a new light 🤣 looks like i snapped the side brackets when i somehow pulled it in half . Hopefully the plug isn't broken whenever I am able to see it if this damn thing ever comes off . I know some people like the clips and push pins . But I wish jeep would use more screws instead . This process would have been a lot easier (for me anyways ) I appreciate the help my friend , ill take a break for a few days and come back with fresh head
