Oh, totally. Those massive interchanges are insane. Have you driven 95 between the Beltway and Bel Air recently? Its one giant cluster with the widening/express lane extensions. By the time they're done it will have already been rendered obsolete and the only ones to benefit will be Allan Myers.Mainly because MD just takes land to make 40 acre interchanges *cough* outer loop merging back to 95 on the north side *cough*

Thank the politicians for that. They see a cash cow and milk it for as long as they can. Only one state comes to mind that has ever enacted then yanked tolls once the roads were paid for- Connecticut.That's being rebuilt too. Not terrible, but not awesome. If only the toll money actually went to road maintenance.
