Check the spreadsheet tracker - I’m pretty sure there is a non-le order out there with a VIN...

So I got a contact back from jeep cares today. They said my order is D1 status but no estimated ship date. I feel like there is some secret society/ritual and I'm just on the outside looking in....LOL. None of it makes a damn bit of sense. But I'm in D1 status so I'm going home and cracking the lid open on a jar of appalachia's finest to celebrate.

To me it just boggles the mind trying to guess why Jeep would wait until the end of this month to begin building the LE trucks. Why wait one day at all? After all they are already sold to 4,190 customers who want what they have paid for! And why call it Jeep Cares? If they really cared about these customers they would build them first and not put them on any back burner. My 2 cents opinion.

It makes prefevr sense as to why they did in my opinion. It gave them 6-8 weeks to build 10k pre-spec units which allowed them to schedule the parts needed for the LE models. This in turn benefits the LE buyers because they end up with a more refined build at the expense of the pre-spec units. There surely had to be issues along the way with launching a new model. Hopefully they have been resolved and the LEs start up soon.

Ordered white Rubi on 4/22, got my VON on 5/2 and my VIN w/ D1 Status on 5/10...dealer did not give me a delivery date or any other details. I just used the live chat on Jeep.com and they confirmed D1 status and said all the parts for production were in and it was sequenced for build. But they said D1 doesn't not come with a ship date.

So I called the Jeep Concierge. My LE order is in D1, but there is no build date or ship date. She said builds are starting at the end of the month (we’ve heard that before) and more updates should be available then.
