Pre-Runner Grill Light Kit

I order the Pre-Runner Grill Light kit yesterday on 11/21. I received an email today that they are out of stock and won't ship until 12/30. My questions is why was it not indicated on the website that they are out of stock? There is nothing on the product page that mentions this fact. I would've looked and ordered them from somewhere else who maybe had them in stock if I had known. I wanted them before Christmas. Many places, such as Extreme Terrain, tell you if an item is out of stock. The Oracle website needs to do this also so the customer can make an informed decision. They also went ahead and charged the payment - many business will wait until the item ships to do that. I don't know if it is possible to cancel the order but I am very seriously considering doing just that.

This is my first time ordering from Oracle and so far I am not impressed at all.

Quadratec has a good prerunner light kit. Comes with a pre-wired harness you just disconnect fender lights and plug in-line. I've been happy with them.

These look great. I may order a set. Looks like you can put them on an Aux switch or tap into existing harness.

I received my Pre-Runner lights sooner than they indicated, which was fantastic! I was able to get them installed this past Saturday. The install was not too difficult, however Oracle does need to update the installation instructions they point you to on their website - these instructions are for the older version of the pre-runner lights (round version) and the wiring connections are different. I was able to find a great video on Youtube from Northridge 4x4 that walked through the installation!

I really like the way they look. At some point in the future, I am probably going to install a Voswitch switch pod and will move the connection for these from the tap into the DRL lights onto the aux switch.

Thanks. I did watch this one also before the install but it is also is a little outdated. It tells you to attach the black wire to the ground post on the battery but that is not the case with the latest version of the lights - you have to use the included tap to attach the black wire to the black wire going to the DRL bulb.

Yes on a Ford Raptor they are a whole different thing, as a over wide vehicle. I do think they make you much more visible though, although I don’t run at speed in dust figure people want to why not….Jack

Looks good - I installed mine recently as well too. I actually wish mine came as the ”old“ version with a loop on the ground since there’s no tapping for LED’s. That wasn’t obvious so took some fiddling.

I mounted mine like Oracle and Northridge on the top hole of the grill mesh and have them on a fuse tap so they’re on with ignition. I don’t think I want to hit a switch to turn them on each time.
