Price drops?

Got an email from my local dealer in Austin, TX letting me know that they have several Gladiators on the lot that have price drops. Notably there is a 22 Overland for a steal at $53K . For reference I bought a 20 Overland for $39 in 2020…

Yea... not really a "steal" lol, but everything is overpriced right now in every market. My first diesel 2021 JT was NEW and 53k out the door (October 2020). Second diesel 2021 JT was USED and 60k (March 2022)

I'm sure the more expensive models have a lot more options. My 2020 Overland was $52k

Mine didn’t have leather or auto cruise control but everything else. The dealer was looking to dump the truck.

Price is dependent on options and trim. For instance, the diesel option is an extra $4K plus, add leather that’s another $1800. That’s 6k right off the bat, you can’t compare a Rubicon to a Rubicon unless you are comparing exact optioned vehicles to one another…..apples to apples. The manufacturer also provided their price level increases to their models each year for reference…..it’s not a 20k increase from 20 to 22.

Bought a Sarge green Overland last month near Atlanta. Manual, cloth seats, soft top, for $43,500 with 0% financing. It was about $4k below MSRP

Just depends on where you're at. That same Willys is 42-43k all day in California. I just bought my Overland Diesel a month ago for just 4k over the price of that Willys.

Typically there are always a bunch of incentives that you won’t qualify for to get that price.

My question is why in the fuck do they not offer the 0% on the Rubi or Mojave?
