Pricing Used Tires

I have my factory Wildpeak 285/70R17s that I replaced with 35s and I'm looking for info on how much I can sell them for.
4 of them have 10k on them and the spare is unused.
Selective market of course but I'd rather sell them to somebody who can use them then let them sit and rot.

depending on your area 500-800. Normally in my group if any has takeoffs with life we keep em stored in the shop. That way when we get someone new in the group, after they do a trail or two and decide to stick around. we gift em the lightly used 33s and 34s. They fit on most anything with 17 in rims. This lets the new guys save some hard earned cash and put it towards sliders, tents, skid etc. Make the community a bit accessible to everyone. You'd be amazed how hard some 18-25 yr olds have to work just to afford an abused high mileage Xterra in this economy.

Market may vary, I sold my takeoffs with less than 500 miles on them for $400. Tried to go higher, but no takers after a few weeks on Craigslist, this forum, etc.

With already 10k miles on them, I'm sure they're valuable to somebody but not probably what you think.

$400 is about what I would expect if I want to move em in a timely manner. I’ll probably list them this weekend.

Between $400-$600. I just paid $400 for a used set of 255/80/17 Falken Wildpeaks with 6000 miles on them. Gonna use them when. I tow.

When I sell used tires, I generally only list current tread depth and what it was new in addition to manufacture date.

I try to keep mileage out of the discussion much as possible as people have way varying opinions of how much a tire is used up based off mileage rather than remaining tread.

I sold the OEM wheels, tires and sensors with the fullsize spare as a package with only 300 miles on the tires for $1100

That's good thinking. Depending on where you do the miles the wear will vary. Tread remaining will give a better idea of the tread life left.

The 5 stock Falken A/Ts off mine with 20k on them sold for $460 a couple of months ago. They were tires only and sold to the first person who contacted me less than an hour after posting them on facebook. The guy who bought them also drove about 2 hours to pick them up. I had listed them at 550 expecting to have to come down to sell them. The spare had never been on the ground and the other 4 averaged 12/32s

I got $600 for my mojave take offs with less than 2k miles on them. I think $400 is fair with 10k miles on them.
