I’m virtually days away from installing my lift and I’m still undecided on what upgraded steering stabilizer I’m going with. This sort of led me down the rabbit hole of upgrading the tie rod and drag link and possibly more while the lift is being installed. I figured I mine as well bite the bullet and get that stuff done now as it will be needed eventually with my lift/wheel combo (EVO 4.5/38x13.5).

I’m torn between the Synergy JT HD Steering Kit (Tie Rod, Drag Link, and relocated fox 2.0 steering stabilizer)

Or the Yeti XD Tie Rod + Drag Link + Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket + Aluminum Steering Stabilizer Damper Bracket, either Fox 2.0 or Kings (just to match shocks)

I do currently have an Evo front Adjustable track bar with my lift.

So, what are you guys running up front? Any other suggestions? Help steer me in the right direction.

Can't speak to other options, but that one works great for me.

First Wave: I first installed the amazing Rock Krawler JT 3” Pro-X “No Limits” lift along with the Synergy relocation kit and the Fox 2.0 SS. The Synergy Tie Rod and Drag Link were then on backorder.

The results were amazing and the steering much improved over stock--tighter, tracked straighter.

Second Wave: Then I put on the Synergy Tie Rod, Drag Link, and the Synergy Front Track Bar and Sector Shaft Brace (https://www.synergymfg.com/synergy-jeep-jl-jt-front-track-bar-and-sector-shaft-brace.html?category_id=4980).

My JTR really drives like a Lincoln Town Car now. Most of the improvement was from the First Wave. But the Second Wave tightened it up a bit further.

I never had the infamous "loose steering" problem, but the installation of all of those components, including the RK four-link track-bar replacement, resulted in a big improvement in the way my rig handles now. It was fine stock; much better now.

I have sitting at home is the yeti tierod, top mount drag link and raised trackbar bracket to go along with my MC lift. My yeti trackbar is on already with my synergy trackbar/sector shaft brace. I’ll be using a JK version falcon steering stabilizer to go with my falcon 3.3 shocks.

My ‘17 JKU had this identical setup and I was super pleased with the quality and handling. My ‘14 JKU had just the synergy trackbar and it was equal in quality.

What I’ve read is that if you need to replace any ends on either companies the synergy will be less out of pocket.

Good luck on your decision, both would be good to use.

oh and think about doing a top mount drag link with doing the higher lift. Just a suggestion.

seems like a stout upgrade. I need to read more on the fox 2.0 SS vs that falcon nexus 2.2

Synergy is the way to go. Their heat treated steel is like a spring. You can watch it bend and go right back to straight. Love their product, price point, and that they actually wheel their product hard during testing.
Yeah, I'm leaning on getting the synergy parts I listed plus their front track bar and sector shaft brace. I assume this brace works with other front adjustable track bars. I read some really positive feedback on the brace since starting this thread.

Yes it will work with others. But I recommend down the road upgrading to the synergy Trackbar. They really nailed it and the location of the adjuster is amazing and sized just right. Their bushings are very reasonably priced when they wear out. Love their products and Ben running them for years

I'm running a Yeti track-bar, Synergy track-bar brace, Synergy HD steering kit, Synergy adjustable upper and lower control arms, Mopar 2" lift, and Terraflex 1.5" leveling kit. All the parts are working together nicely. The only recommendation is to replace all the factory fasteners at installation. The factory bolts tend to loosen up and need to be retorqued often, especially on the track-bar.

I have had yetti on my last JK & synergy on my 2011 Rubicon both are equally good, on my JT I have yetti trackbar & synergy drag-link & i'm going to get an aluminum tie-rod Yetti makes one & fusion . since this is the lowest front end part. they can bend & with aluminum they bounce back

Yeah, looks like the synergy HD steering kit is now out of stock everywhere. HAHA..... this happened to me before when I hesitated on a parts purchase. I have the brace coming in (heck of a deal from Bad Attitude Offroad) and will either wait it out or go in another direction.

So if I was going to go with the steersmarts top mount kit I have 2 questions.
1. Will it run with the synergy track bar/sector brace.
2. Are these all of the parts needed besides track bar (I have an evo) and steering stabilizer (will go with fox)

For #1, your evo trackbar should fit... the only one I’ve heard has issues with the brace is the teraflex due to it’s odd shape.my steersmarts trackbar worked fine.

as for #2, the raised trackbar bracket has an axle mount for a steering stabilizer. You should change that out to a tierod bracket if your using a oem or similar type stabilizer. https://steersmarts.com/collections/jl-jlu-products/products/yeti-jk-extreme-duty-damper-bracket

Oh..... I see what I did there with the bracket. I'm probably just going to get the Steersmarts set up and call it a day. Thanks for help!
