Pulled our camper again this weekend. It’s about 3,800 lbs. I have the Overland (with tow package), and you can definitely feel that your pulling a camper in the JT. It does a nice job of pulling the camper, but a bit sluggish. I also need to get trailer breaks!

I'm currently towing an Airstream Sport 16 with my JKU (it hits 3500 loaded). The JKU does pretty well in Michigan, and I hope to see a dramatic improvement with the Gladiator.

That's about the same size I want to get one day. Good to see it does decent pulling just overland.

Can anyone report towing a camper or trailer with a Rubi?
Wrong rubi I know, but I'll be hooking the gladiator to it this weekend. Given the jlur didn't struggle, the gladiator should be fine. I'm hoping for some tow mirrors to come out at some point.

How much does that camper weigh and which JT? If I’m not mistaken, I think the Rubicon can tow the least weight?

Yes. Was disappointed it didn’t have trailer breaks though!
So what you are saying is: The trailer/tow package does not come with a brake adjuster package to activate the electric brakes on your trailer???

IF that is the case [and I assume it is by your and other statements] then someone at Jeep needs to lose their job. To say that I am disappointed would the understatement of the year...This is a 2020 model for the year 2020! This also tells me that most likely it does not have a 7 pin connector.

"7650 lb towing capacity"

I can see a class action lawsuit in the making for this one debacle.

Jeep beating the band and touting their tow/haul and no braking system...I gotta ask does the radio come with SPEAKERS???

It does not have a factory brake controller, it does have a 7 pin connector. The brake controller should be available from Mopar at the parts counter, so we have been told. Check out the build and price tool at Jeep.com it will really help you understand the packages and options.

I like the springers, often thought of converting my FXDWG front end to a springer...

Nice bike, I guess I need a better picture of the front fork but here is my bike anyway.
