I also had an issue with something becoming out of stock after ordering. I tried calling and nobody picked up. I tried emailing and it took 20 days to get a reply email. Items still showed in stock on the manufacturer's page. I think next time I'll just be going straight to the source when possible. I watch a lot of their YouTube videos so I tried to give them some business.

Contact them on this page. I wanted the Rugged Ridge hard cover, which was on sale when I was looking. I contacted them through this page to ask about a discount. On Monday when she replied the cover was no longer on sale (15% off), but she was able to get me the sale price, plus a forum discount.

When I ordered it was In Stock but I received an out of stock email almost immediately. I sent a message through the site and found that it was a vendor shipped item and they were slow because of Covid. It was in stock but took about 2 weeks to ship. I got it this week and installed it yesterday. All told, I was very satisfied and got what I wanted for much less than anywhere else ($830 shipped).

Not only have I ordered from Quadratec and then found it would takes weeks to be delivered and ended up cancelling, I also found exactly what I wanted cheaper and with free shipping on eBay and Amazon. For example, the Synergy brace and adjustable track bar, were cheaper on eBay and I received them three days after ordering with free shipping (making them even cheaper). Quadratec wasn’t sure when they would ship as they would be drop shipped from Synergy. The eBay seller had them in stock. I think their business model needs some adjusting.

Personally I will not purchase anything from these guys anymore. The C/S reps are just too snarky for me to deal with.

I’ve ran into this same situation in the past with them. It wouldn’t bother me so much that its out of stock or on “back order” or even “preorder”...just sometimes their product pages DONT list those statuses...which then you find out a day or two later.

It wouldn’t bother me that much if they didn’t charge your card until the item actually ships with a tracking number, but seeing as they charge as soon as you place the order...that to me is unacceptable. I’ve since learned to order directly from the manufacturer, if possible.

Other thing I hate about them is having the customer be responsible for shipping a faulty/malfunctioning item back. I could understand if I simply change my mind and don’t want it anymore. But if I purchase X item and when it arrives I see that its faulty or actually doesnt fit the gladiator (as advertised), then shipping should absolutely be on them. Just my 2 cents there.

Backend data systems everywhere are stressed with Covid. I’ve bought from them for years and have gotten nothing but good service. im sure they are doing their best. it is easy to cancel an order if you find the product elsewhere. I’ve had a Synergy track bar, sector shaft brace on order since March. Synergy was the issue. It’s on its way to me now.

I really don’t think anyone is trying to mislead you. Hang in there.
agreed. I have also been buying from them for a long time and always had a great experience. I am sure the challenges with working from home and product inventory at the vendors has created many challenges.

There definitely good winches.
I have a better one on my JK which wheels a lot harder. The truck doesn’t get into the hairy stuff the other one does so I just wanted a solid winch. Nothin fancy.

Ive used quadratec for several years now. I’ve had two negative experiences. Pretty good track record if you ask me.

But I definitely try to order direct if possible. I stay away from amazon for the most part; there tends to be more confusion with part numbers and compatibility.

I use Summit Racing where ever possible. Been a customer since 1987 and never had an issue. I hate to think how much I’ve spent with them over the years. Six figures I think, but it sure has been an amazing ride!

Summit is also excellent- they have some pretty low prices as well, depending on what you’re getting
