Hello everyone! I just purchased a 2023 Gladiator with the Max Tow option and I am really happy with the ride and handling, but I am in the process of making it "mine". I purchased an 1.5 inch Terraflex front spacer lift and a 3/4 inch rear Daystar from a member here. I also obtained a set of Mojave wheels. My goals are increased ground clearance while maintaining most of the ride/handling that I have now and....well, appearance. I am coming from a Rubicon 37's. My questions are does anyone have experience with 1.5 on front with 3/4 on rear? If so tire size recommended? Looking between 285/70r17, 305/70 or 315/70. From a cost standpoint the 285's win hands down. Pictures and recommendations appreciated. Off road for me consist of mainly US Forest Service Roads with ratings of 5 or less. Thanks to all!

Yes, it does. I am also using Mojave wheels. My Rubicon had the 37's with stock gears which is the same. Without a gear change. The drivability/power is far better. I think 35's would fit and look great. I am on the fence. I would like to see a picture with these spacers and either tire Anyone?

If you wheel at all I feel 37’s are the only way forward. 35’s are an upgrade but you’ll be dragging on stuff.

My max tow with my old 33s and 1.5” front teraflex spacer. It was a perfect setup with 33s imo. I ended up with 35s and a bigger lift though

You can go look at my build thread, there are pics of mine in there on 285/75r17 and freedom wheels (same wheels different finish).

35x11.5x17 is also an option to toss into you list. Depends what you're after in the end.

Thanks for the picture. I have lifted many vehicles and have ran tires up to 42.5. I always went in stages. I always started with 33's and to be honest other than looks I always felt like I should have stayed with the 33's for 97 % of my driving. How much of an impact on performance and economy for you? Thanks

2” spacers in the front, nothing in the rear on 37s. Standard, non high line fenders

I also have a 2023 with max tow, and I went with a 2” leveling kit,with 35’s, on Rubicon wheels. 35-11.50-17 tires

I'm not a fan of economy LOL I kid I kid.

From the 245's that were factory max tow I was getting 21-22ish hwy. That dropped to 17-18ish with the 285/75's. That dropped to 15-16 w the supercharger.

I thought at first to just do small and leave it so just did 1.5" front and 3/4" rear w the 285/75's (34"). I ran that for three years. After 2 trips to Moab I'm now of the mid set I should have just gone with a lift from the out set. I've done most of the easy trails in Moab and to do more with out a) being that guy slowing the group down or b) scraping every thing every where. I need a better foundation. I'm not going to do a 6" lift with 40's. So 2.5" (really 3"), locker up front, and 35's when these 285's need replacing.

I'm not one that thinks 37's look good on a stock or spacered JT, I think they look weird. I know I'm the odd guy out on that around here. :lipssealed:

Would you happen to have any pictures of your beginning combo with the 285/75's? My Rubicon had 37's with the AEV 2" inch spacer lift and it did fine. It looked good as well but now after driving with the same gears on this one the driveability and all around performance is what I am not wanting to give up. Mild trails around here consist of dirt/mud, stream crossing, roots/limbs and small rocks. Thanks -Bill
