Radio Update?

Just asking around, but I haven't seen an update for my 8.4 system since end of 2020 beginning of 2021 time frame. Is there a way to check in the Jeep if its current or not? Maybe just wait till it pops up eventually?

You can put your VIN in on UConnect's site and it'll tell you if you're up to date or not.

Are you talking about a UConnect update? If so, you can go straight to their site and search your VIN. It will tell you if you are up to date.

I have not seen any head unit updates since the OTA update pushed out about two years ago as part of a recall to correct the camera issues.

The way to get a Uconnect update to the most current version is to order a map update. I did that last August when it was on sale for $99.

It popped up on my jeeps display and made me wait for 45 minutes while it downloaded..... yeah not fun.

I originally saw it in a posting here. I think you can sign up for notifications on the map update website.
