Trying to decide which side to show on my new tires. I'm putting 285/75/17 Geolandar A/T G015s on Sport S stock rims. What do you prefer? (Brutal honesty preferred)

The white letters look cool in a classic/retro kind of way, but they are a real pain to keep white.

What color is the truck? Maybe a few photos might help paint the picture?

I'd lean all black myself unless something with the truck would help make it pop.

I was glad BFG started offering tires with no white letters on either side. I dont like how white letters look out or in even.

I can’t cast vote as I am both ways on it, I am old and old school and like white letters, but not on a Jeep that is doing hard off-roading. I’ve been in the rocks good with my Mojave have scraps on rims couple pin strips and have rubbed my tires hard against rocks enough that I was worried about popping the bead , white letters would be a torn up mess….Jack
And I am a poser!

From what I'm seeing in a search for images, that tire has white outline lettering... which I personally don't like. Solid lettering like on a Bfg KO series tire is cool, outlined lettering not so much. I'd go blackwall out in this case.

I've had it both ways so I really cant be of help. I like both. However you'll need to get some sort of white tire letter cleaner, I used Bleche Wite from Black Magic it does easily melt off dirt and grime. I was able to get my white letters back to a bright almost brand new looking white after not cleaning them for 5 years.

I have red letters on my JL with General Grabber X3 mud tires and the compliments, especially from kids, went through the roof when those went on. They look pretty cool.

I shop tire performance and size first, including size, but all but the Grabber X3 were BSW and did not have an option for RWL, even though I do prefer the RWL.

My next tire on either the JL or JT will be 35x11.5x17. I hope to find RWL, but again, if not available, I think they still look great.

Yeah it really depends on the truck color and setup.

It's my understanding that white rubber is not as tough as the regular sidewall and will damage easier. That could be a problem on a Jeep.

I wish my Toyo AT 3's had raised white letters. I have always loved the look of that on the Gladiator.
