The beginning of the year I installed the JKS J-Venture lift. I drove it a few hundred miles, about 600, until I could get it to a shop I trusted to perform the alignment. In that 600 miles I experienced death wabble twice. One on the interstate about 65 mph, and another time doing about 55 mph. The shop said all hardware on the tack bar was loose and that was most likely the culprit. Fast forward to yesterday. Once again doing about 55 mph, I hit a manhole cover in the road and the death wabble reappeared. Upon further inspection it looks like the busing on the track bar, at the frame, may be bad. In the video below, does this moment look normal or should there be zero movement? The one in the axel has zero movement/play.

There should be no side-to-side movement at the connection. Good time to upgrade!

Agree - should be zero movement but the question …,is that the cause of the DW or is that a result? That’s why DW causes so much frustration and spills so much digital ink. Highly recommend looking for root cause vs first cause. It’s often track bar but a proper diagnosis will let you know. This helps https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merchant2/DeathWobbleChecklist.pdf

Good luck!

I’ll give that a look. I never had DW until I installed the lift. JKS is sending a set of replacement bushings for the track bar under warranty. Hopefully that will be the cure since all hardware is still torqued to spec.
