Wow, did not realize that these axles throw so much grease! Hopefully it is just a "new thing" and it will slow down. For the price of them I would think they would scrape better with that fancy orange bell that is dang near impossible to push on.
Rant over.

I’ve had them in my PR44 in my Jk since May 2010. They’re overgreased if they’re throwing it out. I give them 5 shots every oil change.

What timeframe is that? An oil change for me might be every 6-9 months.

I was told I’d you don’t see grease in the bells that they’re not greased enough. Per RCV, I put 8 pumps in the very oil change. I’ve never had an issue with throwing grease on the ground, just tiny amounts on the knuckle.

That is what I am hoping. I did not add any grease when I installed them as they looked to have plenty from the factory. So we will see if it stops here shortly. then I will do the 5 pumps at oil changes.

I’ve had mine on for 20k miles. They always do it. It doesn’t bother me though. I’m happy to have strong-ass axles. :)

I do 5000km oil changes on the JK. The RCVs have been on for probably 125,000km. I did a rebuild kit because they were clicking when turning in 4X4 with or without air lockers engaged. RCV says they won’t fail catastrophically and it’s just from wear. (Not a warranty issue cause they’re not broken. Just annoying from $1200 axle shafts) They still click but I’m not worried about it. They’re solid and don’t bind like U-joints.

I had the RCV's on my Power Wagon for 70,000+ miles. I gave them 10 pumps once a year. If you over grease them. They will sling the grease.

I grease mine every 6 month, 4 to 5 pumps. The first year There was grease all over the axle I Guest I put too much grease during the installation.

Perfect thanks. I’m putting a little more in than that, but not to an extreme.
I've beat the shit out of them for sure. Running in water about headlight high, mud bogs, etc. I still have 3 tubes of grease sitting on the shelf.
