After a couple back and forths between a local dealer and corporate, they agreed that it is in fact covered under warranty (there was debate). Because no dealer I found locally would fix it themselves, corporate said I could find a licensed auto glass repair company and then submit the receipts for reimbursement. They opened a claim and I should have it repaired this coming week. We'll see how long the reimbursement takes...

This appears to be the route that I will need to take. I cannot find a dealership close by that will repair it. They told me they know it is an issue, but after multiple attempts on previous Jeeps that leaked, their service manager said they will no longer repair leaks.

Best of luck with that! I'm moving near Augusta in a couple months. Any good wheeling spots near this corner of the states? Not familiar with Georgia at all.

Off the top of my head, Durhamtown Offroad Resort. This place is great, but I have not been out there in a while. Also, Off Camber Creek ORV park and Sunnyside off-road park.

I have used this site in the past. It is pretty good for info

On a side note, do you have a contact for Jeep to start the wheels rolling on repairing my leak.

Thanks man. As far as the POC, I'll ask my bro in-law who has been handling this for me. I'll send you a PM if not today, then tomorrow.

I have a 2020 Gladiator Sport S. It's normally parked in the carport so rarely does it get rained on. Started a new part-time job in May of this year. It rained while at work and I noticed the feared rear window leak. Contacted the dealership I purchased from ans scheduled a July 27 drop off to check for same. My warranty expired on the 1st of August. They confirmed my leak and ordered the new rear window. An outside business will do the install (no surprise there). My only complaint is that I was told I couldn't pick up my Gladiator until the job was completed. So I'm down a vehicle while mine just sits at the dealership awaiting the part and the outside company to complete the repair. I was told if I took the vehicle before all was done, it wouldn't be fixed under warranty. My thing is, the window leaks, it was brought in and confirmed before warranty was out. How is taking it and bringing it back when the outside company is available going outside my warranty period. They aren't doing anything else to it, and it's taking up space at the dealership. Was informed today my new rear glass is in however the outside glass company isn't available to complete the repair until next Tuesday. So many more days without my beloved Gladiator. I know I know, I'm ranting. My common sense says it doesn't matter if it waits on the lot or at my house. The repair still will and needs to be done. I'd rather be able to drive my Gladiator until they were ready to complete my repair. Honestly, I will not deal will this dealership in the future. The management recently changed and things have gone from good to below mediocre in a hurry. When it's time for my clutch recall to be completed I'll be taking to a different dealership for that work.

I had my rear window replaced under warranty. The dealer did it themselves and it shows. If this window ever breaks, I will be screwed. It looks like they may have replaced the window but used copious amounts of sealer to install it. It does not leak so there's that. Not sure if I have my original window. They did tell me that the frame was cracked in several places.

The 7mm vacuum tube no longer fits in the groove. Too loose in some places and too tight in others. I'll just leave it out.

Recently had my window leak fixed in VA, the dealer outsourced it to a company called leakdoctor. They added sealant and it hasn't leaked since. The dealer also gave me the wrong receipt and the water doctor charged $245 to fix as an FYI to anyone out of warranty (mine was covered). Hopefully it stays that way as I have ceramic tint and wasn't looking forward to having it redone.

I'm new here in this forum, but that's how I was able to fix the leacking problem in my Gladiator. I had to make this custom made sun deflector and goodbye leaks.

Anyone get there's fixed after the 3 year 36k mile warranty. I have had my Jeep almost 5 years now with only 33k miles and just noticed the sloshing noise recently. Previously, I always assumed it was my kids water or gas tank or something. I spend the summer topless and car parked in garage so it's not exposed to rain too often. I wish I would have caught this sooner. Nice looking rain guard.

Sloshing would be some other issue, maybe the top of your rear window's drain track is clogged with debris and the water can't make it out to the ends of the window where it naturally will drain.

Or the water drained into the storage area behind the rear seats and it's sloshing there ?

I have read in some other threads sloshing was due to window leaking and allowing water into the roof and the delear resolved issue by replacing window. I have checked and my gutters are clear. I doubt Jeep will take ownership of this common issue since I am out of warranty so I am now reading about DIY solutions.

The window (and it's internal track that cracks and drips inside the JT) is pretty well isolated from the roof, the rear window assembly is stuck to the back of the roof with urethane all around it (just like the front window is attached). So yes, you may have a crack in the fiberglass top and water found its way in, but it really wouldn't have anything to do with a faulty rear window.
