Sloshing would be some other issue, maybe the top of your rear window's drain track is clogged with debris and the water can't make it out to the ends of the window where it naturally will drain.

Or the water drained into the storage area behind the rear seats and it's sloshing there ?
Are you talking about the gap between the glass and top? That would have to be some major debris - it's like a half inch wide.

I have read in some other threads sloshing was due to window leaking and allowing water into the roof and the delear resolved issue by replacing window. I have checked and my gutters are clear. I doubt Jeep will take ownership of this common issue since I am out of warranty so I am now reading about DIY solutions.
Recently I noticed the leak as well. Although sloshing sounds are not associated with a leaking window. You might have a cracked top. I dont think anybody has had an issue with this though.

As for DIY, I tried putting in some thick rubber seal but that space between the glass and top is large. Likely a rubber seal won't be sufficient. My future plan if it gets worse is to take the RTT off, and lay a nice thick bead of black dicor. This would be the best thing to use as it is made for UV resistance and remains flexible even to -30. It is the stuff used in the RV market to seal off roof seams, body seams, and any hole like the windows and roof vents. It is some thick and messy stuff but it works very well. Silicone is not what you want to use.

Yes, something like mud from a trail could have dropped down from the roof and caked inside the rear window's top drainage track. Pretty unlikely it'd block both ends of the track and trap water between, but possible I suppose.

This is why I believed it was window related.

After two days of the Jeep at the dealership, the rear window has been replaced. Dealership had initially told me the cause was a cracked window frame. However, today they told me it was a cracked/separated seal. Since the seal is affixed to the frame, it's easier to replace the whole window.⁸
