So there are a few Punk'n gladiators showing up in the area, sadly they are the north of 60k MSRP. This is a problem because her in Washington state we have a high sales tax and you pay tax based on the MSRP not the discounted sale price. So we are talking about 6k in sales tax.

What is the lowest you would think they could go or if I went in I should offer? They list them at 55k for one of them, trying to push this as low as I can as I haven't save the money yet to pay cash and will have to finance every thing over about 38k or so. Think I can get them to an out the door near 55k, or am I dreaming and should just keep waiting? Obviously this is all opinion and subject to the dealer and how bad they want to sell.

I just moved from washington state last year and purchased my Jeep there and $63500 was my MSRP and I paid invoice of $59500 and only paid tax on the $59500 . I paid for it Jan 2022 so no one was getting below invoice there at that point in time .

You may be confusing Sales Tax with Use Tax.

Use Tax is determined off fair market value, and only applies if Sales Tax is not paid at the time of purchase (i.e. private party sale).

RTA tax is determined off of MSRP though, if you happen to live in King, Pierce or Snohomish counties. I was able to get a good deal from Bud Clary in Auburn after I shared with them the pricing I received from Kent at Peterson's in Idaho (below invoicing internet pricing).

I live in North Auburn so King county. Bud doesn't have any Punk'n, but Larsen and Enumclaw do. My thought was if there was a shot, I will wait and if they are still on the lot mid December go in and see if I can save them some floor plan cost on them.

I just picked up a 2023 mojave at 20% below msrp. There are killer deals out there right now. Msrp was $65k, paid $53k.

I picked a Mojave up this week for 20% off MSRP. Seen some good configs for higher discounts. Mine is not punk'n. I shopped three dealers in my area and could have gotten a better price but wanted some specific build features.

I started the prep work, have to do some reorg in the garage to fit a longer Gladiator than my unlimited. I had to order some duct work to move my dust collector! Will get pre-approved on a loan from my credit union and do some of the refreshers for dealing with them. Who knows might get lucky and get a deal I can accept. Worst case I waste some time at the dealer and some gas.

I don’t remember asking, but it had 10 miles on it when I test drove it so I’m guessing not long. All the local dealers are offering huge discounts and have a bunch of stock.

15-20% off msrp should be your target. If you are in WA. There are lots of dealers in Idaho that have excellent pricing: Peterson, Dennis Dillon, LHM, Dave Smith, Auto Ranch.....pretty much any dealer within 200miles of Boise

There are alot here with over 100 days and some over 200 is why I ask. The Punk'n ones won't have that time on lot but it can be argued that floor plan cost changes the same if I buy the new one or old one.
