Hey Guys

I am considering installing a leveling kit on my Jeep. I wanted to hear what everyone reccomends for a 2-2.5" kit. I LOVE the way my Overland handles so I want to do my best not to compromise the ride too much. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Rock Krawler make a 1.5 " spring for the front... they base their lift amounts off of the Rubicon, so may realistically give you 2.5".

The leveling kit for my 2020 Overland was a RSI Smartcap with a roof rack and table (about 250 pounds) and a bunch of stuff in the back. It was such a nice ride I didn't want to compromise it with any kind of lift.

I went with a cheap Amazon leveling kit when I first bought my overland. My reasoning for cheap was I knew I would be lifting in the future. It came with 2” spacers, shock extensions, bump stops, and sway bar end links. Less than 100 bucks. I would have had zero complaints if I were still running that setup. My wife drove 40k miles and several tough trails in her JLU with just a spacer setup.

if you’re not looking at doing trails, this setup will fit up to a 37” tire with ease.

I did the Teraflex 1.5” kit in the front of my ‘23 Willys. I added to it the lower control arms from the Mopar 2”lift and Tera’s 2” shock extensions. All works together well and the JT sits almost level, just a bit if take remains.

I have the Rancho level it kit. It's 1 1/2 inches for a Rubicon, so add about 3/4 to 1 inch for non Rubicon. I also added a 1/2 spacer to the front and a 3/4 spacer to rear. Also added Rancho geometry brackets. I have about 25000 miles on this without any issues at all.

Do you have any rubbing?
Absolutely no rubbing with factory tires. On 37s on the street no issues at all, but as soon as you start hitting the trails you’ll rub all over the place on 37s. I’m lifted 4.5” now and still find a way to rub on 37s. If you stick to 33-35” you won’t see as many issues.
