How i picture the race in my mind

It's a driver's race.I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade... But the gasser is faster and quicker than the diesel. I'm sure the mods made him slower, but stock racing stock will have the gasser finish first.
You have a gasser? I'd take that race....and I own bothI'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade... But the gasser is faster and quicker than the diesel. I'm sure the mods made him slower, but stock racing stock will have the gasser finish first.
I never knew the difference until I bought a diesel and I run diesel trucks on the ranch and the dealership but after my first Jt diesel I own 3 and bought my wife one Jlurd Tuscadero pink and my son bought one. I've owned Jeeps my whole life including v8 don't think there's a better combination then the dieselIf they only offered the 3.6 gasser, I would have bought a Tacoma.![]()
The SRT-10 is still the world's fastest production stock pickup?Of course Red is the fastest color. The SRT-10 is still the world's fastest stock production truck. My 04 6-speed is just a wee bit faster than the 23 Gladiator.Keeping it Mopar.

My thoughts as well. The SRT-10 is still the world's fastest production stock pickup?
Faster than a TRX or Raptor R? And faster than the EV trucks?
Which means you've never raced them side by sideYou have a gasser? I'd take that race....and I own both
I have run my Diesel Jt with 37's against a 2024 Jlru with stock tires my son wasn't even close.... let's do some real worlds testing I'd be down for thatWhich means you've never raced them side by sideSave yourself the trouble of a race and just google it- if the same person drove a stock gas vs. diesel Gladiator the Gasser is faster and quicker.
Well he challenged me and it definitely didn't work out for him lol. On track with equal drivers maybe. But the point is I had fun with the challenge. Not meant for decisive opinion just for sh*it's and giggles.Which means you've never raced them side by sideSave yourself the trouble of a race and just google it- if the same person drove a stock gas vs. diesel Gladiator the Gasser is faster and quicker.
If you've never drove a diesel Jt you just wouldn't understand. My son took his 24 gasser and put in gears and tuner etc...Well he challenged me and it definitely didn't work out for him lol. Motor Trend said:The Gladiator EcoDiesel Sure Is Quick, Though . . .
The good news is our initial impressions were right: The EcoDiesel engine delivers acceleration that is noticeably quicker than the standard gasoline engine. The quickest Gladiator we've ever tested, another base model Sport but one that was fitted with the gas V-6 and a manual transmission not available with the EcoDiesel, needed 7.9 seconds to hit 60 mph and 16.3 second to complete a quarter mile at 84.1 mph. This diesel truck got to 60 mph in 7.6 seconds and past the quarter-mile mark in 15.9 seconds at 86.1 mph. Even just putting your foot down to pass produces a better response, with the diesel needing just 4.2 seconds to jump from 45 mph to 65 mph compared to 4.6 for the gas truck.
