Since others have posted pics, here’s my “fast” car. 2011 Crown Vic Interceptor. 5.4 swap, Stainless Works headers/exhaust, Marauder intake. Several other mods. I like to mess with Mustangs. Pretty quick car for a dinosaur……I used to have an ‘05 Magnum SRT, fastest car I ever owned. Now that I’m old, the CVPI is plenty for me.

The SRT-10 is still the world's fastest production stock pickup?

Faster than a TRX or Raptor R? And faster than the EV trucks?
Yep. SRT engineered vehicles have no governors (speed limiters) other than the ultimate engine power. If I recall correctly, the top speed on the manual SRT 10 pickup was somewhere around 156 mph. Nowadays, even the TRX is limited because of the tires speed rating. Now, as for quicker (faster acceleration), I would expect the newer trucks, especially the electric one, to be quicker.

That’s awesome. I love facts like this. 😁

It's no 392, or v8 swap, or Pentastar, but I'll throw my TJ into the ring to help represent the gasser Jeeps.

Honestly not sure which is quicker between the TJ and the diesel JT but the TJ sure feels unhinged in comparison

As an LJR owner who lives at altitude, I'm very interested in this build.

It was a headache and if I had to do it over again I think I'd just get a stroker or if I was dead set on boost I'd do a turbo with a proper intercooler.

This started as a Boosted Technologies kit with an Eaton M90 and fuel timing piggyback that evolved into upgraded injectors, meth injection, and custom tuning and all it's extra bits that nickel and dime you. An LS swap probably would have been cheaper by a healthy margin.

At the end of the day it makes about 50% more power at 8 psi and fun roots blower whine. 6 speed and 5.13s

If the 3.6 would play nice and hold together with a supercharger, I would already have one.

An honest 350 hp. but plenty of fun. By far not the fastest, quickest or best handling that I have ever owned but a handful when you jump on it and that is fun!

Had a '70 Duster 340 auto. Then a couple of years later. Got a '73 Dart Sport (Demon) with a 4 speed. Blew up the 340. Changed the K-frame and installed a 440. Wanted more horse power. So I got the 440 bored and stroked to 572 ci.

My ‘56 has a 360”. Bored.030, purple cam, 1.92 valves and an Offy dual plane intake (with a Mopar part number). Builder said to shift at 6,300 because it is safe to 6,800 in case I miss a shift. Basically it is a stroked 340”. He ran stock cars with small block Mopars for many years.
I thought that was decent for a cruiser. It has been from Maine to the Carolina’s and out to Indy. Seems like a lifetime ago. …..

Drove a 9 second ‘79 Camaro on the street a few times. It had a Dale Hall built 454” in it. It was no fun, it went straight when you hammered it.
Cut my teeth on Gassers, 33 Willys, Anglias, even met my wife that way.

Thats actually a 74 Dart sport. I worked a bunch of overtime and wanted a hot rod. Found that one up on craigslist in Chino Valley AZ old boy said his wife told him it had to go because she couldn't fit any more of her stuff in the garage, so I got a pretty good deal on it. 360ci bored .30 over, 727 Torque Flight, Currie 9" rearend. old boy said he built it for mild 1/4 mile and street burnouts.

This gasser might be quicker than your diesel....
840HP stock and it hasn't been even close to stock for years.
Race Gas, Methanol and Nitrous = Stoopid $
Blown 2 Dana 60's, now running an ARB Dana 80.
It's still as aerodynamic as a refrigerator but tons of smiles!
