One dealer I talked to today had the configurations of his 12 allotted Gladiators. He said their prices will be $5k above MSRP. He quickly pointed out other dealers were aiming at $9k - $12k over.

I thanked him for his time and said I can wait for the deal heat to fade. Patience grasshopper, I says to myself. The whole LE debacle has me waiting for things to get sane and organized. I really do want the new one and to see it parked next to my ā€˜67 military version of the old Gladiator.
Yea, there is absolutely no reason to pay MSRP or over MSRP for these pre-spec or even custom order. Wait it out.

ps pics of your ā€˜67, or it didn’t happen!

My local dealer is getting 5. No fully loaded Rubicons so that makes my wait for my LE better. They won’t be marking them over MSRP. Honoring TL 1% under invoice plus any other rebates that will eventually come.

I was lucky enough that I got an LE. I found a dealer that will make the deal at MSRP. It will be hard to find anything less right now. I know in Nashville the dealers are all saying 5K over MSRP

You should be able to get 1% under invoice (~6% under MSRP) with tread lightly. I got my LE for 5% under invoice (11% under MSRP).

That’s why I’m not using a Nashville dealer.

I went outside Middle TN too. A flight to Greensboro NC is $117 on American Airlines. Wife wants to see Biltmore anyway so it is a win-win for us.

I should have done the same, but I was worried I would not get the LE that I wanted. So, for the first time (and the last) in my life, I'm paying MSRP. Not happy about that but I'm glad I was one of 4190

Oh, it happened

My brother and I are still working on the M715, the bed still needs paint and bed liner. She cranks as good as my JK and runs great. She is slow with really low gears. It was a Fire Dept. brush truck with a water tank and pump unit when I bought it. It has been a fun bit of Gladiator / M715 history to tinker with.

Although they have a mix, your saying they plan to mark up well above MSRP?
Their initial correspondence (early March) was they expected $50-$60K minimum ... then when pricing was released, they indicated they would price at MSRP. Finally got a more recent email saying they would honor FCA pricing but not sure I believe it.

Glad it happened! That thing is a beaut. So it looks like you went resto mod... If true, does it have a/c? What was your approach to power steering and brakes? What happened to all the equipment on it? and, what do you use it for? Thanks for sharing the before and after. How long did it take?

This is probably the best LE deal out there. Your case must have been unique - what dealership was this from? Congratulations on the great price... My price is around 5% under MSRP with TL.

There are ~3 dealers on this forum with that kind of pricing. I used Kent @ Peterson in Boise, but Spencer in Iowa and Travis @ TriCity in NC offered similar pricing. Same dealers that offer best pricing on JLs.

Yeah, I believe Kent @Peterson was the only exception with 5% below Invoice on the LE, the rest of them honored the TR price of 1% below Invoice... Out here in MD the best I could negotiate for the LE was ~5% below MSRP because not many of the dealers were aware of the LE and when I called around they didn't budge below MSRP...
