My dad found a brown paper bag with a banana peel behind the door panel on his factory ordered brand new 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It was an interesting combination of new car with rotting banana smell that I still recall today.

That could have been placed post factory just as well from transport handling.

A few years back, I was working a cargo door conversion of a DC-10 aircraft when one of the guys on the crew pulled back a fuselage insulation blanket that probably had not been touched since manufacture 25 years prior and found a 1970's "oui" magazine.

When I worked for Elliott. Got sent to on an on-site job for 4 weeks. Checked into the hotel room. Started to put my clothes in the drawers. Pulled out one drawer, and it was full of didos and sex toys. WTF???? Think the room was used by a hooker. And used that room all the time.

One of the walls we took down when we were renovating our house in 2020 turned out to be insulated with world War II era newspapers.

Our first house. Wifey wanted to remove the old wallpaper and paint. Ok............found 27 layers of wallpaper, paint, and old newspapers on the walls. The house was an old Sears 4 Square built in the 1920's. Also found 5 generations of electrical wiring. Starting with the old tube and knob, went from there.
