Replacing halogen bulbs with LED

Been running LEDs for 5 yrs . Oracle makes a conversion kit for headlights.. Interesting LED taillights and not all the others.. Thought the LED pkg from the factory included ALL. Might have to Jscan and set Headlights to LED & the others too.

. I have a 2024 Sport S, that also came with all LED inside and rear, but no head/fog. The rear LED come with the rear cross traffic side traffic alert, that’s a totally separate package from the LED head/fog/running/turn signals in front. I just surprised your Sahara didn’t come with LLED head front lights package.

I ran LED headlight bulbs in my first Gladiator for 2 years and mine worked great in the oem reflector housings. As ChrisNLA mentioned, aim them down a little. You won’t blind oncoming traffic and will love the improvement. My first set came from Amazon and only lasted a few months. After that I bought bulbs from Oracle and they lasted over a year and a half until I upgraded to Diode Dynamics elite max headlights. The DD lights were definitely an upgrade but for the money the bulbs were the better value.

My current JT came with the LED headlights and they are the best I’ve had. If/when you decide to go full LED, my recommendation is to find a set of oem if possible.

Extending on this, I was flashed once or twice in three years with drop in LED's after I adjusted them properly. Beam pattern looked fine.

I get flashed all the damn time with the new 'normal' incandescent bulbs

Anyway. There are a lot of great LED headlight options out there to consider as well. I am not paying several hundred dollars for any of them though, so here we are.

Besides, my favorite part about LED lights is when they burn out and cost you a few hundred dollars to fix - while if any exterior bulb on my truck burns out (aside from the license plate lights) I can get fixed up at any auto parts store for a few dollars...

$30 Amazon bulbs since day one, first set lasted 3 years.

dont listen to the nay sayers, put them in , put your truck 25 feet back from something. Measure up to center of headlight. Measure that distance on the wall and put the beam pattern under that mark , no one flashes me

Folks be mad they $1500-2000 into some lights.

I even drove ahead of my own truck at night with LED drop ins whilst driving my sports car and the headlights in my truck were less offensive than any modern pickup or SUV with factory LED's.

Quality drop ins aimed properly while not perfect, are fine.
