Required items when placing order

I finally got my Gator Gladiator in on Sunday but when picking all the options with the dealership, it was required to have the all weather slush mats. Every time he unchecked it it said Req. Any one know how to get around this?
Also,
I just noticed that the hard top headliner was on my order as well. I did not ask for it, so I have an email into my sales guy, but is this another item Jeep is requiring to process the order?
I would rather not spend an extra $720 for items I don't want if there is a work around to removing them.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard other people mention the floor mats. I placed my order on the 20th and although the box was checked for floor mats we were able to simply uncheck it. Was your salesperson submitting it as a sold order? That changes what is available. I suppose they could be running short of regular mats and are pushing the slush mats for stock orders.
I haven't heard anything about the headliners being forced. Maybe just missed that box or thought they were checking the next line, anything not on your order?

That's what I did. Didn't make sense to pay more for less.

I got mine on Amazon for $106. I have always gone weather tech but I couldn't pass up that price.

Can any dealers confirm this headliner is required? I may need to walk from this dealer and go elsewhere.

Nope. My Gator Rubi has no headliner or slush mats on the order.

Matter of fact my HotHead Headliner is the only thing I have already ordered and received for my ordered Gladiator. With forum discount!

So weird! Any idea what would cause this? Maybe cause I'm located on west coast. I can't imagine that would matter.
He is also telling me my order cannot be modified or cancelled once the VIN was issued. I ordered it Sunday and had a VIN Tuesday morning which I thought was a bit quick.
he assigned it as a priority 1 order. Would that matter?

Could be butI even tried as a stock order and it did not come up with the requirement...

Could be regional but usually not and yes once the VIN is assigned there are no changes to the order...

Priority 1 is for sold order custom build.
