Does anyone know where I can find the size of my rims? I’m trying to figure out the largest tire I can put on these rims. It is a stock 2021 Rubicon. I know they are R17’s, and I can read the tire size, but what is the biggest tire that will work? Thanks in advance, sorry if this is stupid.

Well, the rims, I believe, are 7-1/2” wide, so much wider than a 275-280 will really bulge.

I wouldn’t run anything wider than a 10.5” tire on a 7.5” wheel. Can you? Yes. Should you......
I run 12.5” tire on a 9.5” wheel.

You’ll get all the nay sayers. But you’ll be just fine. The 12.5 works perfectly fine on stock Rubicon rim.

I’m running 35x12.5 duratracs on my stock rubicon rims.

The tires don’t look bulged. They will hold the bead better than if they were mounted in a 10” wide rim.

I got my tires at my local discount tire store. No issues.

Exactly. I run 315/70R17 BFG KO2's, metric 35x12.5. They work well on the stock wheels, which I really like the look of. Of course I buy my tires from my local 4x4 shop, they know WAY more about any possible issues than I do and they don't turn a hair.

Do you have spacers for these?

Just be forewarned, some tire shops will not mount tires on wheels that are out of specified manufacturers range.

It all falls back onto liability.
