I ordered the non Pro X kit. Hopefully that means I'll get the rest of lift sooner rather than later. I might be in the minority but I'm not in a huge hurry as I still need to purchase new wheels and tires but I'm trying to wait and not spend all the money in a short time frame.

Hi everyone. I purchased the 3.0 X-Factor No Limits kit a couple of weeks ago and I was supposed to have it installed next week as we are waiting on one part from Rock Krawler. We were initially told it should be delivered this week. My shop called them and found out that apparently this part will not even ship until the 20th. This means that the part will not arrive until around Christmas and installation will not occur until the new year.

It is pretty disappointing as I was told all parts were in stock and should arrive within 10 days of the purchase. I had parts delivered from a few other vendors and they are all waiting at the shop for this last Rock Krawler part. I have a trip planned for the weekend of the 20th and I fully expected the installation to be complete by then as per the ETAs provided. I just wanted to let everyone know that it seems to take quite a long time to receive parts from Rock Krawler so plan accordingly.
Who did you order through that said they had everything in stock? Our typical lead time is around 3 weeks for kits.

I can confirm this was the expectation I received when I ordered my pro x kit from Rock Hard Motorsports in Chattanooga, TN.

I’m also in the same boat and disappointed. I called RK and was told shipping was still several weeks out which we know means 3 weeks plus and another week to get across country. I now am wishing I went another route. I’m wondering if there was a design change included in the delay and if we are going to be the trial batch. The cradle seems like a great idea but honestly it hasn’t really been out that long and I’m hoping problems don’t present themselves down the road with it. I hate when I regret purchases especially when I was under the impression it was ready to be shipped. I’ve been dealing with RK for years and this is a first for me with their customer service. I’m hoping it’s just a bump in the road. The snow is falling and I have no parts to get out and play in it.
No design changes have been made since production kits were announced, simply massive orders that we are doing our best to keep up with. We have already added staffing to keep up with the massive increase in JT sales. Truth is, Black Friday/Cyber Week (~11 days) sales this year was equivalent to a normal 2 month sales period for us, dollar to dollar, we have never been this busy.

We would never use an unknowing group of customers as a "trial batch" ever, that's just dangerous for everyone involved.

Who did you order through that gave you a lead time that was different than what you got from us?

Likely you will not need 000 grease, we are in a transition that will be announced soon but, if you have silver set screws in your joints, you can use conventional #2 grease. If you have black set screws you will need 000. Everything made here in the last 2 months has been silver, and will use #2. #000 will not hurt the newest stuff, just more expensive than #2.
My front control arms have the black set screws and the rear lower control arms have the silver set screws. Damm!!!

If you look at the knuckle at each end you will see two set screws on each side of the zerk fitting.

Well good to hear you guys are slammed. That’s great for business. I ordered from Northridge and new it was being dropped shipped from you guys. But no one said it was a month out before it was dropped shipped and I’ve never had an issue With your stuff being sold not being ready before. Well hopefully I’ll get It in the next month or so. By the way you talking in this thread it sounded like these kits were ready to go b and shipping. Glad to hear you guys are busy! Any pictures you can share of this kit in use on the trail? Thanks for the reply.

I was told that anything being drop shipped would be the updated silver ones. I sure hope that’s the case.
My lift has been coming in pieces my front LCA and UCA`s have the black set screws, the rear LCA`s are silver. Still waiting for the rest of the kit and shocks.

The bummer is that now i need to use that $$$$ 000 grease along with 2 grease.

I'll chase down some photos. Northridge should have given you an accurate lead time for the drop shipped components, my apologies that they didn't.

That is correct, everything produced currently has the new raceways and will have silver set screws so you know which raceways you have.

The silver set screws support up to #2 grease. They will still gladly accept 000 grease, so you could run 000 everywhere.

When I ordered from North Ridge on BF my kit showed a few things in stock (which I received within a week) and many other components listed as being a 10-15 day lead time so about 2 weeks. If it takes 3 during one of the busiest shopping times of the year, meh I understand. Maybe you just missed the individual component stock status' when you ordered?
