Just ran through your build. Love what you’ve done. I’ve been back in a sport s (Willys) for the past year after selling my Rubicon prior to that. I can honestly say I don’t miss my Rubicon and I’ve enjoyed building this one up myself. I’ve been waiting for the Toyo AT3s in 35x12.5x17, C load (59 lbs) to come back in stock but have been considering what you have (35x11.5x17) as an alternative. I’m also considering the AEV Salta XRs in satin black. Curious here, how did your set up do prior to the re gear? Was it doable for a while? Interested to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for the post. The 35s with stock 3.73 gears was totally doable on the street. Where I most noticed and struggled with gearing was offroad. Trying to crawl a Boulder garden with a manual transmission was not enjoyable. Went to Moab after the regear and the ability to crawl is night and day. So for DD you'll be fine but I'd recommend a regear prior to any big wheeling trips

It's a small addition but I went with @Threedom key fob and door lock caps. The caps clean up the bit of silver on the truck and I really like downsizing from the stock brick key fob.

Added Asfir engine and transfer case skids (sprayed black to blend in with the undercarriage)

And a pic of my new bike rack set up. Leaves the bed open and I dont have to remove the front tire for a fork mount

Man I love this build! Nice bikes too. What size tire is that on the salsa? I just broke my Radius falling off my mtn bike and I'm contemplating getting into a gravel bike. That looks like a chunky tire.

Thanks! The tire is a 27.5 x 2.1. It has some knobs on the side but the center section is quite a bit smoother which is nice on road/gravel. I used to only MTB but found myself doing less trails and more rides to the local brewery. This provides a nice in between. I can hit some mild single track but enjoy the other majority of riding I find myself doing. Hope the bone heals up quickly for ya.

We're about to move from ITP Atlanta to a more rural area so I may find myself wanting to do the same. Not many trails here in GA. Thanks man
