Rokblokz Rear Issues

So after assembling my rear mud flaps, the screws they sent wont fit with plate C. It is simply impossible. I believe they sent me the wrong size. They sent 1/2" and 5/8". The overal thickness is 3/4" so these screws barely touch the flange nuts. Is there anymore hardware they should have included such as for the brackets?

They will work, I had to hammer them into the plastic. It took a while but can be done.

I as well recall needing to preset or press fit the nuts .... I also trimmed the outside top edge of the rear flap and it fit nicely within the rear fender

Here's the issue. Screw is 5/8. Screw should be 3/4, even though the instructions say to use 5/8. It won't reach the nuts.

Well I solved the issue. I happened to have a box of 3/4 #10 screws in my basement. These worked great. I do plan to contact Rokblokz about the wrong hardware. For the price, they should be correct.

The hardware is not wrong, you have to seat the nut in the plastic then tighten to remove the gaps but not too tight as the directions state. When I put mine together, I used three pieces then tightened the nut with the screw to seat in the plastic. Removed screw then put all the pieces together.

That just seems terribly inefficient. I used a hammer to set the nuts in. There was still no thread contact. If that's considered normal, I don't think I would trust it. The longer 5/8" screws I ended up using as the "short" screws for A & B and then discarded the 1/2" screws. Changed to 3/4" screws to join plate C. This way there's enough thread holding it together, but not any excess sticking out. I still don't know how anyone could make it work. Maybe a part was machined too thick on mine.

Once I seated the nuts everything fit perfect and the screws were just about even with the outside area of the nuts. One recommendation I would have is to locktite the screws, I noticed the other day that some of the screws were slightly loose after 7-8 months and had to retighten. Not enough to lose a screw, just not much tension.

Yea the hardware is technically correct, but it's a very tight fit. I posted before when I had my install issues. These are very expensive, and they (rear ones) should come preassembled at the very least. The company is laughing all the way to the bank.
They rubbed me the wrong way when I was looking for some assistance from them when I was having an install issue due to their then out of date instructions.
The actual rubber for the flaps is great, but it comes at a steep price.

I had the same issue. I banged in the nuts as far as they would go using a mallet and the screws would just not catch.

I reached out to their support and they said I had to the correct size screws and wouldn’t send out longer screws.

So I ended up going to Lowe’s and getting slightly longer screws which did the trick.
