Recently bought a Black Horse Roll Bar that I'm planning to put 4-6 round lights on. I'm currently leaning towards 6" KC halogens because quite honestly, I'm not sure I'd use them enough to need LED and they fit the budget.

My biggest question is can they all be wired to one switch and what would it take to do that? I've run wiring for many mods before, just not that many items so I'm a noob in that respect

Secondary question is there a connector I can use inline to make a quick disconnect? Main purpose is to be able to remove the rollbar and lights easily for hardtop removal and install.

Share any details and photos of your setups too!

I had six 6” KC halogens back in the day on an ‘80 CJ7. I needed three switches and three relays. Halogen uses more power than LED by a large margin. The best resource would be KC though. I’ve found their support to be very good. I asked several pre sales questions before a recent purchase. Even if you call them and don’t leave a voice mail, they call you back using caller ID.

I ran 5 KC 150 daylighters on a JK with 2 switches and 2 relays. 1 switch ran the 2 outside and middle lights and 1 ran the 2 other lights. Same on a Ram 1500. KC makes a kit with all the relays and wiring and connectors. But for a really clean look, you should make your own harness to fit.
Most of the light makers use Deutch style connectors (DT06, DTM06 family etc). You'll have them at the lights and then if you wanted to make 1 inline near the bed / rollbar you could do that as well.
On the JK, i actually only ran 3 power wires down the bar as the each light's ground circuit I just used a ring terminal and i put that on the mounting bolt of the light.
