I got a call from a freight company to setup an appt. First confirmation that anything had actually shipped to me, from anyone.

Got an appointment setup for Monday, so we'll see! It's kinda of killing me knowing it's at the terminal and will sit there this weekend. I didn't know the size of the boxes and didn't think they would appreciate me putting it together in their parking lot.

I can try to remember to take some measurements of the box today when mine shows up, if that'd help you make a determination.

It's here! Now I just need my mopar rails to come in so I can mount it up. I may work on assembly this weekend so it's ready to go.

The shipment came in great shape. Two separate boxes. They're pretty hefty. Transporting in the bed would be pretty awkward I think, but doable. The shorter box is about 73 inches long, and the other one is about 50 inches by 55 inches.

I lied about putting it together this weekend. It's unboxed and in progress lol. Expect pictures before too long.

I'll save the majority of pictures for my build thread, but after about 3 hours of assembly and a half an hour of figuring out how the hell to lift this thing up on to the bed (much heavier than I anticipated): It's mounted! I just have it sitting there tonight to help the adhesive on the gaskets settle, but I'll install the clamps tomorrow. RSI provides two sets of clamps; one for Jeeps with bed rails and one for Jeeps without. I'll tentatively clamp with the "without rails" version in the morning until my mopar rails arrive sometime next week, then I'll switch over clamps.

Nighttime pictures, so really no justice done, but it is fantastic. Beefy as hell, rock solid quality from my pretty intimate inspection of it while assembling. I see no avenue for water or dust intrusion, and I have zero gaps, which I had heard as a complaint on earlier models.

I'll have thorough impressions and more pictures on my build thread in the coming weeks. Up next, ordering my fontrunner roof rack, installing lights, and mounting my iKamper mini for a weekend of camping ASAP.

Got mine installed tonight! I had the shop do it, they gave me a nice deal since it was the first one they've done.

They said they had been a little iffy on continuing to be a dealer after all the delays and not much information on shipping to share with their customers, but after seeing the quality and features they said they are 100% on board.

They said the seals are all excellent where the panels meet each other and everything fit together amazingly.

I've played around with it a little and I have to say its even better than I expected. The build quality is outstanding, it fits the bed perfectly, and the contours match the Jeep just right. Extremely happy so far!

The caps look great, seems like a no brainer over a bed rack other then cost. Damn , now I’m waiting for the cap, flash back to waiting on the Mojave! Sounds like we did the right thing waiting for the RSI, your comments on quality and install are great, still waiting for my call! When did you guys order yours, I ordered at store 7/19, I am hopeful I’m pretty far up the list?....Jack

Weird, I preordered mine on July 28th. I placed the order online, through Offroad Alliance as the distributor. I wonder if shipments are prioritizing distributors that have greater volume. Either way, I'd imagine yours should be coming in any time now.

For sure. It has universal style tracks up top, so just about any roof rack that has mounting points at wider than 50 inches or so should work. I'll personally be mounting a Frontrunner rack on top of mine, and see no issues with fitting one, as the RSI tracks look to be nearly identical to Frontrunner/Thule/Yakima tracks.

RSI actually has a super cool roof rack themselves that I personally think would be perfect for kayaks. It is kind of split in the middle, and pulls out and drops down to the sides of the shell on either side. I imagine that'd make stowing and retrieving a kayak pretty easy. Check out their website for that if interested.
