Asking for a favor if someone with a rubicon would measure from center of their tie rod joint (end to end) for me. I am about to swap in a rubicon length axle in my sport and need a starting point to set the tie rod at. Thanks

Oof, hard to do solo while it's on the truck, couldn't do more than eyeball about 61". I'll try to get a more precise measurement when the lady gets home but if someone has a stock take-off on the garage floor, that would be easier

Drag link arm and the stabilizer mount bracket that goes on the tie rod arm are also different on the wide axle.

Here is a quick way... Get two long straight 2x4s and strap them tight to the tires. Make sure the 2x4s are level and get the tires off the ground. Measure front and back of the 2x4s to get the toe in you want. I like zero toe in. here is a pic. Note: it would be better if the 2x4s are closer to the center of the tire than what you see in the pic. I was pulling the tires on and off, so, that is why you see the 2x4s strapped too low.

I went by and measured another rubicon looks like 61” that fourfa posted should be a good starting point. I have rpm steering with relocation brackets for the stabilizer so I should be good on those. Thanks for the help and suggestions!
