I would get a Mojave. Because I live near sand and dunes. Best for my purpose. I like the purpose of the suspension and rear locker on 4H.

Overland would be my second choice for luxury and comfort. Just as capable in most offroad conditions. Best of both worlds.

Rubicon would be my last option due to the wheelbase and departure angle. I wouldn't use a stock Gladiator over rocks and steep hills. Which is where the Rubicon would shine. The other two would get me to the same places the Rubicon would.

I'd personally get the Rubicon. It's what I ordered as well. I'm going to be lifting the Jeep with the EVO 4.5" lift and put on 37s. So all the factory Mojave parts would come off anyway. The Rubicon front lockers and Electronic sway bar disconnect are such a nice feature. I had a JKUR and lifted on 37s and loved the front lockers and the electronic sway bar disconnect.

BUT I'm on the east coast and there's not much high speed offroad around here anyway.

Rubicon: Lockers, Swaybar Disconnects, Wider Axles, 4:1 Transfer Case, 4.10 Gears, Skid Plates, 33" tires in factory trim. Ready to hit most level 4 and down trails with nothing added.

Mojave: Stronger Frame, Cast Iron Steering Knuckles, Remote Reservoir Shocks, Wider Axles, 4.10 Gears, 33" Tires in Factory Trim. Sand ready from the factory, will handle most of the same trails as the Rubicon.

Overland: Narrower Axles, basic suspension, 3.73 Gears, 18" Wheels (Less Choices of Tires) Better Creature Comforts in Interior.

These are the major differences. It's all about what you want really. If you don't plan on heavy off roading or dune hopping then get the Overland.
For me, I knew going in I wanted the Rubicon. The Mojave wasn't available yet, I may have looked at it but probably still would have gotten the Rubicon.
I don't try to justify my choice or push it on anyone else. A Sport S in max tow is just as capable and can be built into a stronger trail rig than a Stock Rubicon, but it would cost more than the difference in trim price to do it. Talking apples to apples here guys, lockers, lift, tires, and air compressor for lockers, it adds up to more than actual prices were when I bought.

In the end, everybody else just has an opinion that is generally biased by what they bought. Spend your money on the one you want and enjoy it.

Extremely well said KevMan65 !! There's not a "right" choice here. It's all about how YOU use your jeep and whats most important to you!!!! For me, the ride quality of Mojave was the deciding factor, but that's just my "personal" preference !!!

All Gladiator models are great vehicles in their own way !!!!
