Running boards

I have a non-technical question. Does anyone have it input on what you think a Jeep gladiator running board should be replaced with? I like one that it’s sharp and functional.

Following with interest.
I love the look of the factory running boards on my Overland. And along with mud flaps, they protect the sides of the truck well.
But, my wife is recovering from a recent knee replacement and looking for better options.

To me it depends on how you use your Gladiator. Will you be off-road a lot? Rocky trails or deep mud? For me, I'm on-road use with the occasional dirt parking lot at the farm market. I have the mopar running boards for now.

Cant go wrong with any of these options IMO if you're looking to add more strength over the running boards but still maintain a step into your Gladiator. However, the factory running boards are still good for what they are they don't necessarily "need" to be replaced with anything, unless you plan on off-roading, or just dislike how they look.

I just bought of like new pair of Tyger Rider running boards on bookface market place. 80 bucks. Love them. Pictures don't do them justice. They are beefy and solid. And the kicker. I don't even use them. I step right over them. Got me a short GF. Im such a nice guy.

If you don't want to slip
Luverne has an aggressive toothy expansion metal
cheese grater running board / boot scraper.
Mud and cow poop can be flushed off with a hose.
My contractor has them on his one-ton dually.
When we went to lunch the only drawback for me
was that once my boot was planted
it does not allow my foot to rotate
and it twists my knee.

That was a bum steer.
Luverne does not make a Gladiator running board.

After having nothing when I bought it to a set of Mojave rock rails and now a set of OEM side steps, I really like OEMs and the look. Much easier for everyone, including the dog, to get in and out now. Also something to keep in mind, is some require you to step on certain areas. We can step anywhere with these. Also, they're not going to get rusty over time since they are made from a composite plastic type material (I think). And, a big thing for me aesthetically, they formed to the contour of the body lines. Most others do not. I picked up a set of take offs for $75.

My 23 came with Running boards, my rock rails came in and i'm taking them off this weekend. They collect snow and bang on everything

I put a set of the Rough Country power running boards. They work and look great too. Easy to put on, but NOT for rock crawling, even though they look the part when closed. Can turn them on and off and have LEDs too.

These look great. Do you know what model side steps these are? I just picked up some Mopars on ebay (68341196AA). Couldn't find too many pics with a good view of them installed.
