YES, black fenders! not i'm not sure which way i want to go.
I've have Jeeps with both, my 01 TJ had black and they faded but I painted them with Krylon Fusion and that looked good and lasted a while. My 05 LJ had painted and they looked great... but got beat up with chips and nicks. Couldn't tell from 20 feet back but always bummed me out.
My current plan is to live with them and if they fade badly just have them Bullet lined like I did the bed. Who knows if that will last but I figure with the guarantee they have it should work out.
Here's a picture of my 05 LJ that I just sold and you can see it looks good from afar... up close they were beat. Again down sides either way I think.

There are ceramic coatings you can put on plastic trims now that should keep them black a long time

An equal compromise, no wrong choice.

I've had mind-blowing spectacular results with this stuff on everything. The easiest and slickest finish I've ever had! I'll never hand apply wax again. Game changer.

Won't lie I was on the fence but wanted to save a bit of cash... but totally right they really are equal it just is cost and looks. I TOTALLY get going for them and man did my LJ look sharp for a 17 year old daily driver!

Nice, I see you got the Firestone's like some others that came in recently.
Definitely liking the RWL of the Firestones!

Mine’s being built now (I suppose, ordered on the 3rd). Hoping that tire shortage lasts a few more weeks. Those look sharp!

Had the top off tonight for the Hothead Headliner install and took it for a little cruise. Sunrider for hardtop might be moving up my priority list... anyhow figured I’d share a few pics.
