i recently put a 4.5" Skyjacker kit on the JTR. The front driveshaft is non cv and its very close the exhaust loop.
The fix obviously is a cv driveshaft. But im seeing different choices. A shop told me the Rough Country one was plenty strong. I see Adams drive shafts as well around the $700 price range

If we assumed they both used Spicer ujoints its just a name brand preference?

I'd skip the RC driveline unless you can confirm they are using quality Neapco or Spicer parts. Everything I have gotten from Adams has been Spicer.

I’m another vote for Adam’s.
I used it on my JKUR.

I’ll eventually use them when the stock shaft starts to fail on my JT.

I replaced my JKU front and rears with Adams shafts years back. They were fantastic.

Or just talk to your local driveline shop and have one built. It's not like any of this is rocket science.......Quality parts and welding can be done pretty much anywhere.

Tom Woods drive shafts also have a good rep. , I'm thinking about doing my rear on the gladiator sometime and will look at those two the most.

I have Tom Woods front driveshaft with a 4.5” Rock Krawler lift. Customer service was top notch and once I provided the measurement I had the shaft at my doorstep within a week. We installed it ourselves, no issues yet but have only wheeled it hard once since install.

i'd be curious if anyone has wheeled the RC one hard and or had to up grade to adams
when i had my tj, i had Woody's driveshaft and a RE driveshaft, i switched to the RE because the woody one would eat ujoints.. it boils down to construction as someone said earlier. not necessarily name brand
